Kind of like how I see the world after a few joints and a lot of booze. Any clue on how you managed the blur of dizzying colour? (You have an SLR?!)

Well what I did (and I’m sure there’s a better way to do it), was that I first went into auto focus mode where the camera tries to focus. There as it tried to focus, I caught this one and switched to manual focus and took the shot.

Slick fingers and sleight of hand then eh? Kudos.

Well somewhat I guess….basically this thing is called “Bokeh” which is the out of focus portion of an image. As you become better at photography, you would know what focal length to select in manual mode to get such an effect. There are even different shapes possible for the blur (octagonal etc) depending upon the lens used.

History and theory of photography too! You’re really turning this avocation into something of a profession for yourself is it?
