I don’t know much about photography as such, but from what little I do know of buildings. I just get the feeling you are getting caught in scales.
I mean, except one or two of the photos, the others are midway between capturing the building as a whole and the building as a sum of its detail elements like arches and coffers.
Maybe it’s just that the space isn’t allowing you the kind of room to manouver, but then that’s the thing innit? You’ve got to decide, knowing your limits, what exactly you are trying to capture. If it’s the sheer geometry of the you’re getting (like in the coffered ceiling or in the flooring patterns or the repeating colonnades) then you wan’t to ignore the elements like the grottos and murals for a bit and vice versa.
I’m not sure this is carrying across well enough, but I hope you can catch the essence.

You’re right….absolutely right. I guess you’ve been able to articulate what I felt when I saw, or rather even while taking the photographs – they some how don’t manage to do much for the viewer. Seem very superficial.

      Lets see…. 🙂

good angle. gives a very good idea of the place n its surroundings, not just the building. 🙂
