Crazy ’bout Coffee in Hyderabad ctd…

Hyderabad is depressing at 10:45pm. At least if you’re scouting for some open place that would serve coffee 😦 Given that I was in Gachibowli at the time, I had to finally settle for the Barista outlet in Jayabheri. Although I’d initially wished to go to some new place, the good thing about this place is that it stays a open for a while after 11pm. I think you can give it a shot up till 11:30pm. Ditto for the Subway next to it.

I ordered a Cafe Mocha which was nice after the first sip. I like Barista given it was one of the first few to start the “coffee shop” trend in India, although I feel the chain can be maintained much better. Plus, it would be nice to have some variant of the filter coffee served at Barista πŸ™‚ At least in South India!

Bangalore is definitely better for coffee than hyderabad πŸ˜‰ You get the absolute best filter coffees and of course the Costas, CCD and Barristas..

The Bay area in the US has a good coffee culture, almost like wine connaisseurs . There are places where you can tell how many minutes you want to brew the coffee and what kind of coffee you want – jamican, costo rican etc.

Check this out – very popular with Palo Alto and SFO folks

Specify how much time the coffee is brewed for?!! Wow, that’s rich! πŸ˜€
